"I just finished it yesterday, Be prepared to ENJOY a special read. Honest, emotional and heart warming. A look at many local heart warming connections with friends and loved ones ,and a real taste of gratitude that surrounds us if we truly look deep into what makes us "who and what we are"."...it brought me back years, remembering those who really helped me get where I am today..."

"In a unique and fascinating way, The Unforced Rhythms of Grace and Gratitude does more than share Mike’s story. It makes us reflect on our own story. It causes us to ask, Who are the people that have made a difference in our life. What legacy am I creating?”

My Story
MICHAEL WICKAM, in his first book, explores through his unique brand of storytelling, his 50-year journey to living a life of gratitude.
Raised by his single mother and grandparents in a small northern Illinois town, the author introduces us to those men and women that lifted, challenged, and motivated him to become a first-generation college graduate and achieve success in high-level corporate positions with some of America’s largest companies.
Filled with invigorating short stories of the ordinary and extraordinary, the author takes us across the United States, to Haiti, Vietnam, and many stops in between to meet people of inspiration and hope; of warning and example.
The author earned his bachelor’s degree in media communications from Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and his MBA from California State University in San Marcos, California. He is a small business owner in Minneapolis where he lives with his wife and two children.
